Meat Weaners
We specialise in friendly weaners with a handbook and support package for first-time pig owners
For £65 each (£20 deposit) your weaners will come with a comprehensive handbook on raising your pigs and marketing your excess pork, plus lifetime support from Black Orchard. A CPH number is needed, and pigs cannot be kept on their own, so at least two must be bought unless you already own pigs. Large Blacks are renowned for their good temperaments, and are ideal beginners' pigs.
Weaners are also available to experienced homes at £60 (£20 deposit).
Our 2024 summer litters are completely sold, but please let us know if you would like to go onto the waiting list for later litters.
All weaner packages for new owners are discounted for those who book onto our Pig to Pork course before collection (£60 for meat weaners and £130 for breeders)
Breeding Weaners
We occasionally have surplus breeding weaners available at £140 each (£40 deposit) for experienced pig breeders. Entirely matching or exceeding the breed standard, fully birth notified, registered, ear notched and tagged. We breed Bess and Queen sow lines, and the Majestic Eagle boar line, and hope to have registered weaners available from all three lines during 2024. These lines are particularly rare so these will only be sold to active breeding homes who will birth notify and register piglets.
For new pig breeders we offer a special package for £140 each (£40 deposit). Your weaners will come with a comprehensive handbook and lifetime support from Black Orchard.
